I used this vintage Battle of Hastings stamp, with the gold silhouette of Queen Elizabeth II as the focal point for this colourful, textile piece. Parts of the collage are hand stitched, featuring ribbons and fabrics, as well as various papers. Bold imitation gold leaf frames the piece and echoes the monarch’s head in the centre.
