A meditation on shape and colour. I enjoyed using my favourite blue, purple and pink hues in this painting that celebrates the flat and opaque nature of acrylic paint. Using deliberate lines, careful curves and circles, I painted this piece freshly inspired by a visit to Charleston Farmhouse, and the free nature of the Bloomsbury artists. Later collage pieces have reflected the shapes you see emerging in this vibrant but calming piece.
