The focus of this collage is a 1948 stamp of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. I used hand stitching to surround the central image with shimmering beads, as well as carefully cut fish from some beautiful block printed Indian paper. The background features more fish, swimming amidst the warm and shimmering imitation copper leaf. A richly textural, whimsical piece.
